One question about the event, is there a specific date for it or is it just all summer? Sorry if you already specified and I just missed it but I didn't see it anywhere lol
You're okay! The last post was pretty long, so it may be easier to explain it here.
So for this event, it is one specific day each season, hence the Throughout the Year. The first prompt for summer is due on June 30th with the theme of Adventure.
The next date for fall will be voted on along with the theme, but I decided to just start this one so people had time to create.
Of course, it's not the end of the world if you need to post it a bit later or earlier than the assigned date, I just thought it would be best to have a date to focus on so people remember to do it, if that makes sense.

Their room above Queen Jovyre’s Great Hall is cramped. It makes it a lot more difficult for any of them to get ready for bed, the clumsiness of the partying ebbing though as they make their way onto the bed.
Hardwon is facedown on the mattress, seconds away from sleeping, one arm hanging off the edge of the bed. Balnor is already fast asleep in the chair next to the bed. Moonshine gets ready slower, eases herself under the singular blanket on top of the mattress, trying her best not to jostle Hardwon or disturb Balnor as she does.

Hi, I have a question about writer applications. It says that the works must be a max of 3000 words, but does the minimum requirement of 1500 words for final submissions also apply to application pieces or is it ok to submit a shorter piece along with some longer ones? And even if that is ok, would if be preferable for us to only apply with pieces that are at least 1500 words since that much is required for final submissions?
Hello! You're welcome to submit a piece shorter than 1,500 words in your application if you think it's a strong representation of your work! Please keep in mind that application guidelines require at least one of your pieces to be a complete story.
Question for submitting a writer application - if we're submitting multiple pieces, do they all have to be WLW, or is ok to submit a non WLW piece along with some sapphic ones? I do have several WLW pieces I could submit, but they are all shorter, and I'd like to be able to show you a longer piece of my work as well. Unless there isn't a minimum length you'd like and it would be ok to submit shorter pieces!
Hey great question! Since you have WLW content, we would like to see that since that is the focus of the theme. We don't have a minimum length requirement for the application process, so you should be fine to submit those alone. We just have the maximum length of 2.5k so we don't get incredibly long submissions.
