Other people in the world, but you don't HAVE to interact with them... you can help your friends if they need it, or assist strangers if you choose to

With that, the ability to play solo and actually get somewhere in the game

If you're on a team you're not -forced- to stay within the same area as them

You can abandon (almost) any quests at any point if you get bored or distracted, and just pick them up again later when you feel like it

You can really take the whole thing at your own pace

No loot box system. Like cosmetic upgrades for purchase yes, but what you see is what you get

And you don't ever have to pay real money for those items, you can earn points easily with the daily/ambient challenges

Fun openworld exploration ((not a necessity to multiplayer games, but it is a huge plus for me))
