 Chin Wag beers! Another excellent brew from 5e’s anniversary releases, this is a mixed fermentation saison with pineapple and aged in Sauvignon Blanc barrels. Wooo! Coming in at 7.5%, it pours clear with a foamy head and a lemony, white grape nose, it’s super crisp and clean, tons of citrus alongside a great Bretty, barnyard funk and tart pineapple, the Sauv Blanc contributes to the tartness and adds a creamy, oaky element, it’s complex and well-rounded, very easy to drink, wrapping in a slightly sticky, oaky (vanilla), honey-laden finish. #7018 Upstreet Rhuby Social (Canada) One of their flagship brews, this is a 5% strawberry and rhubarb Witbier. It pours an opaque pink with a foamy head and a tart nose, the earthy hibiscus hits up front alongside the juicy strawberry and bitter rhubarb vibes, it’s soft and creamy, the coriander sits nicely in the background, it’s fruity and crushable, wrapping in a dry finish.
