I remember everything I did. And the worst part is, I remember liking it. Because I felt powerful. I felt fearless. And most of all, in control. But when I came through it, I learned something else... Control is overrated.

“Costume designer Mayes C. Rubeo ensured the cast wardrobe enhanced the authenticity of each episode. [...] As the series segued from black and white to color, Rubeo collaborated with the director of photography and production designer to ensure they achieved the perfect overall look. She describes the first three episodes as ‘particularly stunning,’ including a psychedelic 1970s print dress for Wanda in the third episode.”

“The classic-sitcom approach offered exciting opportunities for humor and levity, but filmmakers were very serious about getting the genre right. Director Matt Shakman says, ‘It was really important to us from the get-go that we weren't parodying sitcoms. We studied tone and style from era to era. We wanted to make sure the actors were really fluent in all of these different styles.’ Cast and crew studied classic sitcoms from the 1950s through the 2000s. ‘We wanted to make sure that what we were creating was absolutely faithful to the original touchstone shows,’ says Shakman.”

You know, we brought in Kree, Titans, vampires. Why is it the two orphan demigods are such a pain in the ass?

Well, it can’t all be sorrow, can it? I’ve always been alone, so I don’t feel the lack. It’s all I’ve ever known. I’ve never experienced loss because I have never had a loved one to lose. But what is grief, if not love persevering?
