#DearSis Sometimes the self-induced, sin-caused affliction that’s put us in opposition with God can make us forget there’s still hope. We sin, God’s anger rises against us and we forget His mercies are still new every morning and there’s still hope in Him. Sis, I don’t know what you’re doing or done, but there’s still hope. I don’t know what you’re going through or gone through, but there’s still hope. For the author of Lamentations, after penning all his suffering from Lamentations 3:1-18, says this starting at verse 19 “The thought of my suffering and homelessness is bitter beyond words. I will never forget this awful time, as I grieve over my loss. Yet I still dare to hope when I remember this: The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease. Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning. I say to myself, “The Lord is my inheritance; therefore, I will hope in him!” There’s still hope sis. You simply need to ask for forgiveness, be forgiven, depend on God, believe, and wait.
