Making anc is work and play all rolled up into one. Sometimes it's a pleasure to draw, sometimes I just have to buckle down and work, but it's always so satisfying to finish a page. My motivation is the desire to make a good end product, something I can open up and read whenever I need to delve into some other reality. Something to hold and be proud of, knowing I made something that will outlast me and the issues I'm working out through it. I am recycling the bad energy in my own body, the frustration with physical and emotional cancers, and making something worthwhile out of something ugly.
My motivation is internally powered, not externally. My drive to work, work, work is genetic; we're stubborn mules in this family, not happy unless we're neck deep in some task.
I'm happy to share what I make... but I can only answer so many questions about the future plot because it is, essentially, an experiment in turning my personal health crisis into something new and better. The plot follows my life and my dreams. It's not something I can predict or control. Learning that has been a journey in itself.
I'm not interested in making a perfect product, but in finishing an imperfect one. Imperfection is actually the goal. I am a stage 4 bone cancer patient; I have no time for perfectionism. I never had time for it, only time to either practice or do.

!!! Day 2 !!!
Woke up past 10 and got breakfast at Sunshine and the tour of the town
We picked up Colin (his best bud) from work and went to his place to play with his cats until the showing of Godzilla. All pretty high while watching it.
Watched shows together, like I Think You Should Leave with Tim Robinson, and took Polaroid pictures.
