I went to Supercon for the first time ever (a five hour plus drive away from where I live)and had a great time. I volunteered, and got to hang out with my friend, the awesome @thedeathecchi

And like any other convention you had your famous celebrities there meeting and greeting with people and just generally having a great time.

But one of the things that I have always in my head believed was that you couldn't go up to these people and just tell them how much you appreciate them and thank them for all they do and just like you know give them a good old-fashioned handshake.

I don't know why I've always held this belief. Maybe it's because I think these people are kind of Untouchable and the only way you can really talk to them is if you're purchasing something from them.

Don't make my mistake. Because I was so wrong.

You don't need money to go up and tell these people how much you appreciate their hard work. You don't need to spend money to tell someone how much of an amazing job they are doing and how much they have impacted your life doing what they do. I feel so dumb that this belief has kept me from telling so many people how much I love and appreciate everything they've done for not just me, but for so many people.

I missed my opportunity to say this all to Josh Keaton and Bex taylor-klaus. They were at Supercon and I saw their booths (though I only saw them breifly sitting at their tables).

I saw a majority of the Overwatch crew, including my favs Chris Parson and Zhang Yu ( whom I managed to squeak out a tiny hello to)[Where were you Matt Mercer?]

I saw a lot of famous people. I saw a lot of loved people.

And I can understand it is a huge thing to meet someone who you idolized for a long time.

My brain was going miles a minute when I got my celebrity photo with Brent Spiner a couple years back. I did actually manage to squeak out my thanks to him for all the work he had done as I have enjoyed watching him in many different roles. Though my tongue did feel like lead and I felt like a babbling fool.

But I managed to do it. Granted I felt that it was okay to do because I was getting a photo, something I had paid for, but none the less...

Do not miss your chance to tell these people how much you appreciate them. Don't be scared and don't think you have to spend money to go up and say thank you. I realize now how many opportunities I've missed on telling these people what they mean to me.

When you get an opportunity take it. You don't know when the next time you're going to get to see them is, if you even do get to see them again.

I got a selfie with Stan Lee, but I regret not telling him how much he inspired me.

This is great but also it made me realize i fucked up their name . So i fixed it to Falcon Also fuck me they named them FALCONHAWK
