in october 2021 tumblr user @sloppystyle made this textpost. it is the oldest example we could find, though the creator of this pist says they didn’t start the meme. even though the oldest post we could find was created in 2021 the meme didn’t go viral on tumblr until january 2022.

various viral posts have been spreading around tumblr since then. the meme seems to mimic a news portal reporting on an accident. in the case of this meme it is often used in relation to a non dangerous but usually uncomfortable experience
