part 2
part one Requested: Yes Calum POV Sitting in my bunk at night, I thought of everything I said to y/n and how I wish I could have taken it all back. Like every couples, we fought but never in the 2 years of dating her did I ever swear at her or force her to leave. Iâve never been the one to want to make her cry but in that moment of yelling at her, all I wanted was to see her cry. I wanted to hurt her. I wanted to push her. Or at least see how far I could push her. In the 2 years of dating her, weâve never been apart for more than a week and the three months without having her by my side started taking its toll on me. I stopped calling her because talking to her reminded me that at the end of the day, end of every show, I would not be going back to bed with her, she would not be in my arms, I wouldnât have her to comfort me. It didnât help that the stress of being on tour was really hitting hard. I barely had time to enjoy being on the road with the boys and I know it was the same for them. They missed their families. But that doesnât take away the fact that weâre assholes. We never should have let our stress and anger out on y/n, she didnât deserve it. Like she said, she took time away from her job and I knew she couldnât afford to take time away but she did. For us. For me. And I blew it. First things first, when I get the chance, I will fix what I caused. Normal POV You couldnât help but let out a few sobs, disrupting everyone on the plane that was sitting near you. Many people looked at you in annoyance, some offered sympathetic glances and others simply ignored you. Youâd hate to know what it was like once you landed. No doubt about it thereâd be paparazzi waiting for you on the other side, hearing how âCalum Hood breaks up with y/n y/l/n as she boards plane in tears.â  Though you werenât sure whether or not you both broke up, you decided to go home to visit your parents and just to focus on yourself. Once your flight landed, you were pretty much out of your seat and out the plane. Finding your suitcase, you made your way outside where a few people with cameras were waiting for you. âY/N WHATâS HAPPENED WITH YOUR CALUM?â âHEY Y/N, SMILE FOR THE CAMERA LOVE!â âDID YOU AND CALUM BREAK UP?â âIS IT TRUE YOU CAUGHT HIM CHEATING?â You kept your head down low, trying to hide your tear stained cheeks and red eyes. You made your way over to the cab that was waiting for you, quickly shoving your suitcase in the back and getting in. Your notifications went off, indicating all the messages from your friends asking how you were and what happened. Making the quick decision, you turned your phone off, giving the the direction to the cab driver for your parents house. âSo what is it this time? Your boyfriend or girlfriend cheated on you?â The cab driver asked glancing in his rearview mirror. âUmm, boyfriend, and no or at least I donât think so.â You replied, shocked that heâd want to make conversation with you. âI donât actually know what happened to be honest. He travels, itâs his job so I decided Iâd go surprise him and our friends but turns out they didnât want me there. Funny isnât it?â You ask quietly, feeling your eyes sting with tears as you recited the cruel words youâd heard only hours ago and the last few weeks. As you finished telling him how you and Cal met, he was silent for a few minutes. âDonât overthink it kid, everyone has their bad days and it looks like they were having theirs. It happens. Unfortunately, you caught the ass end of the stick.â He replied slowly, switching lanes as we neared my stop. âTalk to him when you can, youâd be surprised with what you find out. From the sounds of it he loves you and cares for you. Same goes with your friends.â The cab slowed as you reached the driveway seeing your mum waiting for you by the front door. âHow much do I owe you?â you ask, reaching for your purse. âDonât worry about it kid, consider this a gift or blessing in disguise.â He smiled generously. âThanks, umm, I never got your name.â You said embarrassed that youâd made the hour long car ride about yourself. âItâs Tom and youâre welcome.â You opened the door, ready to step out when he called out. âHey y/n? When he does call, donât make it easy for him alright. Show him that he canât walk all over you.â He winked before reversing and leaving you to stand in the driveway. âBaby! Aw my baby, come here.â Your mother reached out her arms as you walked towards her. Seeing your mother there just brought out every singing feeling as you ran into her arms wrapping yours around her shoulders tightly and burying your face into the nook of her neck, sobbing loudly. She reached around, catching you, the force of you knocking into her catching her off guard for a moment before wrapping her arms around you. âThat;s it baby, just let it all out.â It scared her seeing you in this state, you werenât really one to run to your parents whenever you were upset, normally youâd go to your boyfriend or call him so immediately she knew something had happened with Calum. âY/n? What happened? You need to tell me okay, did something happen with Calum?â Hearing his name only made you cry out even louder as you remembered what he last said to you. âHe doesnât want me mum.â You choke out trying to get the words out. âHe didnât want me. I just wanted to help him mum and he turned me away. He doesnât love me!â You collapse in your mothers arms and on the front porch as she calls out to your father. âI just wanted to help! I travelled 8 hours to go see him and he tells me to leave. Says Iâm too clingy and annoying.â âY/n?â Your father asks, his heart breaking seeing his baby girl break down on their front porch. He quickly moves over to you, helping you up as you continue to cry. âY/n! You need to listen to me.â He says slowly, helping you over to the lounge to sit down. âYou need to take deep breaths okay princess. Take deep breaths. In. And out. In. And out. Just like that. (Y/m/n) get her a glass of water, she needs to drink something.â He called out to your mum as you heard her run to the kitchen. âI donât care how long you need to stay for, but thereâs no way in hell Iâm letting you go back to yours alone alright?â You spent a week at your parents, not wanting to go back to yours and Calumâs apartment. Trying to avoid anything that reminded you of him but you knew youâd have to go back sooner or later. You did have to admit, it helped though staying at your parents house. On the third day, you found that you were able to make it through the day without shedding a tear. On the fourth day you were able to go out with friends although you couldnât help but notice the looks of pity they gave you, that was hard. But on the seventh, you found yourself standing in front of your apartment, hand on the door knob and heart racing. Twisting the door handle, you opened the door slowly. The door creaked as you closed it after yourself. You left your suitcase near the door with your shoes and jacket. Making your way down to your guest bathroom, you werenât ready to go through your shared bedroom to use your ensuite let alone to see a brown eyed boy standing in the middle of the hall way looking down at you with sad eyes. âCalum?â IâM REALLY SORRY FOR THE CLIFFHANGER, I WASNâT ACTUALLY PLANNING ON DOING THREE PARTS BUT I DIDNâT KNOW WHAT I WAS WRITING WHILE I WAS WRITING SO IT JUST ENDED UP LIKE THIS
