Forgot to post this.

Apparently, I do pass as a boy.

A gay boy it seems.

I’m fine with it.

It’s pretty much what I am so *shrug*.

The tale bellow, the cause.

Last week (was it last week?), I called a Bolt (for those who don’t know what this is, it’s basically a usually cheaper version of Uber). 

The following happened:

The driver was drunk.

Angry drunk he was.

The first thing he did was make me sit on top of an all scrunched up towel that was lying on top of the car seat. 

I found this to be quite odd and somehow upsetting.

The rest was just as lovely.

The man kept yelling at other drivers.

He even lost control of the car at some point.

My seatbelt, a trustworthy friend.

Then it happened.

The angry drunk got bored and began directing his shouts towards me.

First, he attacked me because, apparently, I had chosen the wrong time to call a Bolt. 

He didn’t like traffic.

It’s not my fault he accepted the ride!

Bastard...

After that, he asked me why I was going to where I was going.

And, with nothing to hide, I told him the truth: “I'm going to pick up my glasses at the optician.”

He didn’t believe me.

Is it that strange of a thing to do?

Highly doubt that.

*shrug dance*

*shrug dance completed*

Let’s continue, shall we?

He then said:

*drumroll*

This:

“Yeah right, you’re going to meet your boyfriend, aren’t you?”

My first thought: “Dammit, he thinks I’m a girl. Fuck’n hell...”

But then, to my surprise, he muttered (soundly): “Estes paneleiros...” (which, for example, in American English means “These faggots...”)

Yes, my friends.

Yes indeed.

He actually didn’t think I was a girl.

In his eyes, he saw the truth. 

The truth of me being a bloke.

And, adding to that, my high, soft but boyish voice must have told him “gay boy alert!”.

My way of movement isn’t considered to be, well, “feminine”. 

I’m not the all “macho” type either.

I’m just... don’t know...

But yes yes, my voice apparently shouts “gay”.

I’m not really looking forward to have a girl all over me so...

If it shouts “gay”, let it shout.

I’ve always believed I would soon be a victim of transphobia.

I guess homophobia came first.

Funny thing that.

My reaction?

I laughed a “I can’t believe this is happening... get me out of here, lord all mighty.” laugh.

Thankfully, the ride was quick to end after that.
