my name is mara (she/her) , i am starting 10th grade this fall ! my birthday is on the 18th of march and im a pisces ! 

i am romanian and speak english ( fluently i like to say )  and the tiniest bit of french

goals ( why did i start my studyblr ?)

basically i need motivation this school year and for the longest time i wanted to start a studyblr properly but i never had the time . im a huge procrastinator and i find it hard to get things done even though im very passionate about learning , in general .

idk if you care but i've been very inactive recently and i haven't been feeling my best.

sorry for the lack of content, not just original posts but any posts at all.

i kind of wish i had this perfect study blog to keep me looking like a normal healthy self loving person but im not that and the truth is i cant keep up with it.

i've gotten to a point when sometimes i don't even want to get better or make progress. school really drains me as it is and i dont even study like i used to. ( i haven't drawn anything in like a month ) sorry for the long ranting post i just felt like putting something out there and i kinda feel responsible for the amount of followers i've gotten recently which i don't feel like i really deserve, at all.

hey! honestly, he sounds like a terrible teacher and i really don’t think you’re learning anything through solely memorising content word-for-word as you might not end up understanding the concepts and process of what you’re learning about. in my opinion, you should perhaps try speaking to your teacher privately either in person or by email if you’re too scared and let him know that you get anxiety when forced to speak in front of the class and relay information and that you’re having trouble learning as well as memorising everything.

however, if you can’t speak to your teacher or any other teacher/a principal then here are a few tips on public speaking and presentations that you might find useful! here, here and here. being prepared helps a lot with anxiety! also look up some breathing techniques for anxiety if you think that will help. as for memorisation, reading out loud is key! read out what you’re suppose to remember a number of times as if you are presenting to the class until you naturally begin to remember. reading it over in your head may help as well as writing it out.
