[NARUTO] Their Perfect Halloween

(I'm just going to do a few random boys, feel free to ask for someone more specific ;))

Naruto - Halloween parties

"The next round in on me!"

You followed the sound of cheering and quickly located your sunbeam of a mate standing in the middle of the bar, a crowd of costumed party-goers around him. He was going to regret splashing so much cash tomorrow morning, but right now, he was beaming bright, happy that he could make others happy.

And he looked far too cute in his costume: an interpretation of a bowl of ramen.

His eyes landed on you and he beckoned you over, grinning.

"Alpha! Babe! Honey!" He pushed through the crowd and threw himself at you, hanging off your shoulders. "I missed you!"

"Having fun?"

"The most fun! The best fun!" he cheered. "Even better now that you're here! Let's dance!"

He tugged you into a clumsy embrace and immediately started swaying to the music. It only took about ten seconds for him to switch to a mix of disco dancing and grinding.

You laughed, unable to resist Naruto's infectious cheer. You let him tug you around, stabilising him when he stumbled, and basking in his love drunk words.

"You're the best, I love you," he said, draping himself on you again.

"I love you, too."

"Best! Halloween! Ever! Next round is on me!"

Yeah, he was definitely going to regret this tomorrow.

Sasuke - A camping trip

The woods were loud. The wind wove between trees with a whistle, the fire crackled, and various animals snuffled in the brush all around you, hidden in the darkness.

The woods were also quiet. There was no one for miles, the area uninterrupted by human civilisation, and you and Sasuke spoke no words.

He threw a few branches onto your fire, poking it at with another stick until he was happy with it. Draped in all black, he was difficult to see, even with the firelight.

When he was done, he settled down beside you, his shoulder pressing against yours. You could feel the warmth of his body against yours, even through the layers of fabric.

You looked up, staring at the sky through the tree cover, an overwhelming sense of contentment welling up inside your chest.

"The stars are beautiful tonight."

Sasuke looked up at the sky at your prompting and you could see them reflected in his eyes.

"Yes," he whispered. "They are."

He rested his head on your shoulder and something unspoken and tender passed between you.

"Happy Halloween, Sasuke."

"Happy Halloween."

Kiba - Scary movies

"Boo! He was my favourite! I was routing for him!" Kiba threw a handful of popcorn at the screen, showering the scene of the brutal murder with the fluffy, white pieces.

"Why was he your favourite?" you asked, idly rubbing Kiba's leg which was strung over your lap. "He was a prick."

"Yeah, but did you see the way he looked in those shorts? If he's dead, then I don't get my eye candy and the movie is worse now."

"That's fair," you laughed. And it was, because he had looked fantastic in those shorts. "Who do you think-"

You startled as the music suddenly blasted from the TV as a horrible face popped up from the darkness. But your reaction was nothing compared to your mate's. Kiba jumped several centimetres off the couch with a yelp at the sudden jumpscare. When the moment passed, he collapsed into embarrassed laughter.

"Aw, man, I can't believe I fell for that, it was so obvious!"

"If you're scared, I know a way to get your mind off it," you teased, leaning into his space suggestively.

"Oh yeah? Is that a promise?" he waggled his eyebrows at you and you snorted.

"It can be whatever you want it to be."

He cackled. "That was even cheesier than this film and that's saying something."

"I try."

You leant down and stole a kiss that Kiba immediately deepened. The film faded to the background until Kiba suddenly pulled away with a wet noise.

"Wait, I want to watch this scene, she's my new favourite."

"Do I want to know why she's your new favourite?"

"Have you seen the shirt she's wearing? Oooh boy."

Shikamaru - Bonfires

When the Nara, Yamanaka, and Akimichi got together to plan a party, the result was always a perfect 10.

Children were shrieking with joy as they played games and ate more sugar than they were usually allowed in a year, the food table groaned under the weight all countless plates of food, and the costumes ranged from ultra-realistic to comically low effort.

You were enthused but breathless from running around with a hoard of children and, hoping for a break, you were searching for your mate.

You found him slumped in a chair alone by the bonfire, bathed in warm, flickering light, nursing a drink.

"Come here often, handsome?" you teased, leaning over his shoulder.

His eyes flickered to yours and he let out a little amused breath.

"Too often."

You slid onto his lap, Shikamaru automatically adjusting for your weight, and grabbed his drink, taking a sip. Shikamaru relaxed his grip, letting you take it and return it without issue. The fire was pleasantly warm, combating the creeping cold now that you were stationary instead of chasing children.

"Your family is so much fun, I love parties like this."

"It's pretty nice this year," he admitted. "Having all the kids games in one half of the compound has made it less troublesome. I've only been asked about when we're having kids half as much as last year."

"Really? I've been asked twice as much."

"Because you went to the kids side."

"Ahh, rookie error on my part, then."

Shikamaru hummed, resting his head on your chest. "If you had sat over here with me, they wouldn't have bothered you."

"I'm here now, aren't I?"

"You are," he murmured. He stared at the fire and let out a contented sigh. The weight of his head on your chest doubled as he relaxed. "You should stay with me all the time."

So, I was supposed to do this for 5k followers but it’s taken me so long to get around to it I’m now at 5.5k. Thank you to every single one of you that follows me, I love all of you so much! I’m going to be doing a few different things to celebrate, but this will be the master post for it and I will be pinning it to the top of my page. Anyway, here’s what’s going to be happening:
