-I forgot to mention this yesterday, but when I was out at a clothing store, I noticed that the girl checking us out had some silly bandz on her lanyard. I commented on them, and the girl then gave me and my partner one. Omgg it was such a nice gesture! And I had forgotten about silly bandz - it was all the craze when I was in middle school, and I would beg my mom to let me get some.

-ALL HAIL TO THE TRASH GODS

Literally 4 different times this week, as I was going out to my car in the garage, there has been something by the dumpster that was in really good condition that we have wanted or didn't know that we needed. Literally we got a nice black faux leather storage ottoman with stools, two bar stools, a tv entertainment center stand thing, a nice low table/coffee table, and then tonight we found some really nice cuts of raw wood (like at least $100 worth) and we're going to bring it to my partner's parents to maybe get cut and turned into some side tables or an entry table.

Like... that and moving some stuff around - our living room has been COMPLETELY transformed and it is sooo nice. It had a dormy vibe before and felt incomplete but now it feels like a home and I love it so much. And we can actually have a lot of people over! We're going to have more people over and host some game nights, we're really excited.

My partner made fun of me for my "trash finds" initially, but now they have 100% come around, and as a joke I started saying "praise to the trash gods" but I am also not just saying that unironically. Praise be to the Trash Gods, and thank you to the Universe for lining us up with such wonderful stuff

-Spent some time with my best friend today! He so graciously donated his body for me to poke and prod for an assignment about front mu points. Then we got some lunch at a really good ramen place downtown. The seating was traditional style, and while the Ramen was good but okay, the gyoza was absolutely the best I've ever had.

-Idk... I just feel high on life right now. I started pushing myself out of my comfort zone, and goddamn it feels so good. I wish I would've done this a long time ago, and not followed my anxiety's desires to hide away and try and be as "safe" and comfortable as possible.
