Friday I started new course âEntertainment lawâ, it is a selective course where we learn the experience of the USA and our native country.  One of the interesting questions was whether the TV format is recognized and protectable by copyright. Started as very interesting...Â
Well, few seconds ago I saw a new advertising of Dior âPoison Girlâ.  In my opinion, it is not very interesting and sophisticated as previous advertisements.  I found interesting that the jumper which the âPoison Girlâ puts on on the roof of the building contains the print lettering in pink very similar with one used in the Russian logo of fashion designer âKira Plastininaâ. Though the inscription is very different âKira Plastininaâ and âI am Poisonâ the lettering and the colour seemed to be very similar for me.  But maybe I am wrong.Â
Itâs very interesting may the words on the jumper of the girl constitute an infringement of the trademark in such a situation? For me, from the first sight, no, it canât because the inscription and message is different. Then they used for different products on very different markets. And then it is necessary to find out how this jumper may be used after a while.Â
And whatâs about copyright?
