#weddinganniversary #4yearsofmarriage I never thought (or focused) on getting married, it was not a priority. So when I met my husband at almost 45 years young...it took me by surprise to feel and know that this man was “my person.” Now 4 years later I feel the exact same way about being married to the love of my life, Nathan Charles Bender! I wish I could share more than 10 pictures on IG because @joshletchworth captured so many amazing and authentic moments of just a handful of the people that are most precious in my life. We weren’t even going to have a wedding ceremony, but we wanted to include my stepson Jackson. We had a very small ceremony, less than 50 people total @isleworthgcc (thank you @breaweiss and Al) and it was perfection. During this time of extended isolation I’m so grateful to be able to reflect on these images, and have visual reminders of the meaningful and loving relationships in both of our lives. Year 4 is represented by “fruit”... so we celebrated today by eating ice cold watermelon on the deck of our “tiny home” in Charleston, South Carolina. Happy 9 years together and 4 years of marriage, babe! These years have gone by so, fast. It feels just like yesterday, we were in English class and you made a smartass remark saying "what the hell are you looking at?" (Lol, for the record, I wasn't looking at him.
