my best friend is waking up in 3 hours. my best friend is leaving for another state in 4 hours. my best friend is going to pursue their dream and get out of this fucking town. I am so proud of them. so, so proud. I see how hard they work and how hard they love and how much harder they care about this. I can only imagine them doing great things, championing the world with pure fire and talent. there are so many things I want to say, but there’s no time left. they write good letters. I’ll work on my penmanship. it’s going to be fine.

It's difficult, being home for a wanderer. Because when they're gone you're full of the memories that you can't quite touch, and when they're here you never want to let them go.

I love how, even when I don't plan to see nomadhymns, I see them. is good.

I'm tracing my forever into your shoulder so that even when you find someone who makes you think about tomorrow, there will be a piece of me that follows you into the future.

I keep trying to capture the moments when I know that I love you. Take a picture of the bright soul behind the smile, catch the music of your laugh on film. It's the moments when the urge to kiss you is almost too strong to handle so I try to document those moments and keep them with me, to remind myself that such a pure feeling can exist.
