Not sure of the model with this one, it has the low mounted exhaust of the Sport model, but the bonnet vents of a Super Sport and is powered by an over size 1296cc engine. The DVLA lists it as a 1933. The Morgan Super Sports was a two seater introduced in 1933, replacing the previous model Super Sports, until 1935 it had a distinctive beetle back styling, with spare wheel mounted on top of the tail. After 1935 it was re-styled with a barrel back, and recessed spare. All had upswept exhausts running along the body. There were two choices of engine, a 990cc Matchless, or a 1096cc JAP and a three speed transmission was standard. The JAP engine could be modified to give a pretty scary 80mph plus performance, with mods such as polished valves and heads. In 1934 the Super Sport sold for £ 135.
