40p!!!!??? What could happen in 40 pages!!!? Yuki's return, their conversation about what happened, their feelings, their acceptance of each other again, their love, their lives as humans, a lot... I don't think the author is capable of doing that. It's a bad ending.
How will it end in 40p?
I understand what you're thinking and honestly, I'm confused too about how everything will unfold. With only 40 pages left, it feels like the final chapter may end up being rushed and burdened by everything it has to resolve.
I’m not expecting a fully satisfying or extraordinary ending for Yuki and Kaname. More than anything, it feels like this is simply the closing of a story that began long ago, a natural extension of the original series' ending.
I'm not sure if Kaname will regain his memories, but perhaps some memories of moments with Yuki will return when she returns.
The chapter will probably begin, from pages 1 to 10/11, with Kaname going to Yuki. Waking up and the moments of longing and embrace between them.
Then, from pages 12 to 20, there will be a deep and honest discussion between them. Not just emotional, but mature, and sad.
Yuki will show her change and reveal the pain and happiness she's experienced, and perhaps even untold secrets, feelings.
After an internal struggle, they begin to accept each other gradually, not all at once.
Then, from pages 21 to 30, there will be quiet moments, small moments that reflect the longing, trust, and happiness that has returned between them.
They might share something they had in the past, like a place or the gift he gave Yuki.
It becomes clear that their love hasn't died, but has grow more, making it possible for them to get back together.
Then, from pages 31 to 38, scenes from the near future are shown.. how they live together, their special moments, their aspirations, and their journey forward, visits to family Kiryu Cemetery and friends.
They might talk about having children, traveling, working together at the coffee shop Kaname opened, or farming...
A very special but powerful moment that shows how they've Loved each other and matured more.
Then, the last two pages are about the end telling about how they suffered, moved on, and got back together, and now it ends with them dying as happy human beings after fighting their cruel fate.
That's my prediction. I don't know what else the author could write, but something like this. We'll see. There isn't much left.
