Love is indeed the focus of Lent - a time in the Catholic Church where we are called to focus ourselves all the more to Christ, who offered His life for us on the Cross for our salvation - all because of His great love for us. This is the season where we are called to deepen our love for Jesus as we commit ourselves to pray more fervently, make personal sacrifices and do acts of charity to others.
