I met a parasite today. I thought maybe he'd be like me, could help me. I was wrong, and he seems dangerous.

Still... the virus inside me is attracted to its parasite, I might have to learn more about it.

The virus and Sans both coexist inside his body, the virus cannot be sentient without Sans' soul, and Sans cannot survive without the power of the virus.

The virus gives Sans the ability to access and read the code of any undertale universe he enters to learn more and prepare properly, the warning signs and text surrounding Fresh is a result of the virus reading his code. Only Sans and the virus can see this.

This comic takes place in the antivoid. Error caught Fresh up on what the virus and Sans are, Fresh knows they are unalike.

Sans, realizing Fresh is in a parasitic relationship incorrecrly assumes he is a host to a parasite. He is desperate for someone to understand what hes going through while he's recently undergone this change. When Sans realized the parasites host is subdued, he becomes unsettled. The virus becomes intruiged.

How is Sans "talking"? At some point Sans and the Virus use their ability to alter code to create chat boxes that express his thoughts and what he wants to say, he is not verbally talking, simply a pop-up of his "dialogue" displays in front of him. He mainly uses this ability in the multiverse.

I am. So late xD forgot to do last week’s SansFriday, and also forgot to do it yesterday. So I’ll be posting another Sans Friday soon(either later today or tomorrow).

I got 404 on the wheel, and decided to do this 404!Sans, a new guy. I like this Sans, he looks cool :)

I didn't consider i might not have lived when i absorbed the virus. In the moment i wished i HAD died becayse of the pain, it was excruciating, sometimes im scared the virus will go back and try to kill me again like it did then.

404TALE STORY:

As to avoid spoilers for details i would like to reveal in the future, this story covers a general timeline of events and basic details so you can best understand what the story is like!

404tale takes place in a classic Undertale timeline.

The game one day becomes corrupted with malware, destroying and altering pieces of the game's code permanently.

Main code alterations include:

Colours being swapped between characters or characters simply having entirely altered palettes.

Objects dissappearing entirely. Including characters, buyable objects, landmarks and buildings.

Dialogue options sometimes being given to the wrong character, or dialogue appearing when no one is speaking/out of place.

The dialogue swapping is why Sans is unable to speak. All of Sans' dialogue was given to Papyrus, leaving Sans with none, rendering him mute.

Because Sans remembers resets, he immediately realizes that something is wrong and attempts to find the source of the problem. After multiple resets (made in an attempt to flush out the virus) Sans finds the physical manifestation of the virus inside the game.

To avoid further damage, Sans absorbs the virus (as if absorbing a soul). It tries to kill him, but ultimately ends up fusing with part of his soul instead. The rest of the soul is permanently damaged and dies off. Sans is now a partially soulless monster.

Fusing with the virus gives Sans new powers, namely, he has the ability to use his teleportation to travel between the multiverse.
