Like the sound of a pen dropped hastily onto a notebook, you enter my mind. A fleeting thought, but a thought all the same. And there you go again. I stay steadfast, and wave goodbye.

"Bernie, the St. Bernard"
Someone didn't want his photo taken today😉 My "little" fella kept sticking his tongue out at the camera, poking his nose up in the air, and walking away right when I was snapping a shot. Gotta give it to him though....he's got attitude....🙄😁(4.26.17)

So this morning, I met up with two close friends to study for my final. Both of them know about my history of having an eating disorder (relevant later. I'm not sure how, but once when we were off topic, one of my friends, call her M, started talking about how one of high school friends was completely boob-less, and her friends [jokingly] called her "some name making fun of her weight]" (can remember what it was). I said, "that's horrible," and my friends defense was "well she was basically anorexic." I said "that makes it even worse." And she said "no, she wasn't actually anorexic, her whole family was bony and tiny." I'm like, "okay then you shouldn't say she was anorexic. That's not the same thing." To which she replied, "Well she never ate a ton either. But she didn't have an eating disorder." And I'm like, "okay that's not anorexic though." And she's like "I'm saying it as a description." And I said "well that's just wrong." And she said, "no, it's not, by the definition of the word anorexic it's a description." And of course I'm like "okay well that's wrong. anorexia is not a body type. It's not even in the criteria to have that supposed body type. Thats very offensive." And she replied, "well I don't understand why you have to take everything so seriously. I'm just saying things how I see them, and it's really annoying for you to take things so seriously."
She turned back to her studies, and I just sat there. I sat for a moment then I walked away. I cried in the bathroom for like 30 minutes before coming back. I wasn't "triggered", but hurt and mad.
When I got back, she apologized (sort of) and said she didn't mean to upset me. I said I wasn't good at handling conflict and the issue was really really personal to me. or something like that. I just wanted us to get back to studying. Anyways, later I will say something more to explain. I will probably right another post talking about how anorexia isn't a body type.
