2nd DVR Appointment
I was not very pleased with my DVR meeting. My agent is very new and wasn't prepared at all, they even said they hoped I didn't mind being the guinea pig. I mind. To get DVR's help, I'm supposed to prove that my business is viable by showing them a business plan, and the meeting I went to served the purpose of creating a plan for the plan... just barely. I'm ready to make a business plan now. I was ready last month! My next meeting with them to actually put the plan for the plan into action is another whole month away, May 27th. There were no earlier openings. I seriously question whether, at this pace, I'll make my self-imposed dead-lines. The one useful thing that did come from the meeting was that we scheduled a benefits analysis from a third party. A benefits analysis is a study that will show me how various amounts of profit will impact my government benefits, which is half the reason I even came to the DVR. The third party is suppose to contact me within 2 weeks. I'm contemplating having them pay for benefits analysis, pumping those folks for information, then dropping DVR and having a lawyer help me with incorporation and bylaws. I'm not a happy camper right now.
