my nugu girls don’t even have 1k views in 5 hours please go listen to the song!! It’s meant to emulate old school kpop with big band and an upbeat tempo, if you love 2nd gen you’ll like this 💖💖💖💖💖
New nugu queens, 3Piece, announced their first comeback already 🙏 y'all still streaming Summer Feeling, the best debut track from GG this year
피어올라 / Light Up, coming soon
Roundup: Freshest Releases
Kiss Of Life "R.E.M"
This is a very chill comeback and sonically the exact opposite of their hit "Sticky", which in my opinion was the Nr. 1 summer song of 2024. I was kinda bored halfway through, the song needed a better chorus.
Lee Eun Mee & Chungha "Move Remove"
Ms. Lee and Chungha went with a smooth 1960's Doo Wop track, which I don't mind, but with songs like this you need a strong chorus as well, so a bit disappointing. They could have gone all out on the mv and styling as well, but kept it low budget.
3piece "Light Up"
Another retro concept, done right this time. The brass adds so much funk to the song and I really enjoyed the vocal delivery. Never heard of the group before, apparently they started out with different members and names, but then became 3piece last year.
Min Jiwoon "Sentimental Love"
She originally debuted as a soloist in 2018 and now made her redebut with 'Sentimental Love'. SM found a good sound for her and the mv is shot beautifully, but this feels like b-side more than an important solo debut. Meanwhile, BRYN's "Plug it, Charge it, Work, it" was fun.
