The Beatles photographed on the 3rd June 1964, a photoshoot for the Saturday Evening Post newspaper in Barnes, London. It was during this photoshoot (allegedly) that Ringo collapsed with tonsillitis and pharyngitis and had to be taken to hospital. A few hours later session drummer, Jimmie Nicol attended a rush rehearsal with the other three Beatles and was drafted in to replace Ringo on their 1964 world tour, due to start in Denmark the following day.
George, Eric Clapton and Dhani photographed on the 3rd June, 1999 with some guitars which were due to be auctioned by Christie’s on the 24th June, 1999 to raise funds for Eric’s Crossroad's Centre charity in Antigua, a foundation that treats alcoholics and drug abusers.

Photos from what must have been a rather rushed photoshoot for the Beatles with the latest fifth Beatle to join the ranks, Jimmie Nicol. These photos were taken on the 3rd June, 1964, at EMI Studios, Abbey Road. Ringo had been taken ill that morning and the World Tour kicked off the following day!
