3D Printed Typography

Here are the outcomes from the elective week last year. Together with Lucas Paul-Antoine, we tested the limits of the 3D printers. One way was to recreate weaving, and the other direction was to make the 3D printer fail on purpose.

What happens when you print in the air, with no printed support structure?

The project lasted one week, a lot of fun, and a lot of failing. We used the Ultimaker and then our school's funky ceramics 3D printer.
