“Hypothetical question,” Tony began before the other person could even speak. “How effective do we think faking my death so I can get out of every social engagement I have until February would be?”

“I need to be distracted from wedding planning,” she closed the magazine and let out a breath. “My head’s about to explode.”

"Hey uh..." Clint scratched his head with an arrow -- a little too hard, but it only made him wince. Didn't draw blood, that was a win! "Have you seen an arrow? Not, not this one, obviously," he said quickly, gesturing with said arrow. "Another one. Looks just like it. Probably embedded in a satellite dish somewhere." He patted the yellow one-eyed dog by his side. Lucky rubbed against him, begging for pizza with his eyes. "Lucky knocked into me while I fired, and I... sorta lost track of things." "Is this seat taken?" Peggy questioned, approaching the empty seat at the table. "It's crowded. I need a breather."

“I’ve only been here twenty minutes and I’m already regretting every major life decision I’ve ever made.” Johnny pulled a face and dropped down on the bench, away from where the others were training. “I’m hurting in places I didn’t know existed.”

“Someone better be dying,” was what Rafael said as he walked past the person obviously waiting for him outside his office. He unlocked his door and stepped in. “I’m in back-to-back meetings off-and-on all week, so you might want to bother Carter or Fury with whatever this is.”
