Cross-Stitching Project! - #3838 Part III, A Stitch Between the Lines
Hey everyone! So for my third (yes, third) run-through of the 38--give or take--plays of Shakespeare, I’m going to cross-stitch them instead of reading them. I’m already in a Renaissance drama course this semester, and I’m barely keeping alive with my other courses, so I figured I’d give myself a break and turn to cross stitching.
So this is where you come in. For each play, I’m going to be stitching a little motif to represent the play (like a pie for Titus, a dagger for the Scottish one, etc. etc.) So I’ll be doing a LOT of stitching on top of the commissions I have coming in. But need some help figuring out different motifs! I want to try and capture different things so like, while stitching Yorick to fit Hamlet is fine, doing something else (like a falling sparrow) is also super good!
So if you’re feeling friendly, send me a play (or multiples) and possible motifs to go along with that play that I could stitch!
