37 weeks 5 Days
It is almost over, and while I feel a huge range of emotions about it ready and excited are the biggest. I'm only slightly apprehensive about Declan's arrival because I'm not ready to share him. I want him out, but he is mine, and it is going to be hard to be polite about not wanting a ton of people around him. Hubby's family is really excited and pushy. The thing is he doesn't want to share either. We have no trust of other people with Declan. I'm sure its just first time parent anxiety, but man the first person who crosses us will probably get freaked out on.
Yesterday morning was pretty awful because I was in a ton of pain, my whole body ached. We stayed in bed a good portion of the day, but got up finally to eat and be productive. We took a ton, but still somehow only 25%, of Declan's things to our house. We've been at his mom's since July, while we moved and renovated a trailer. We got word last night we might actually have water before Declan gets here, so we may get to move in, and I won't have to deal directly with my overbearing MIL who drives me up the wall.
Well I'll have to tell her she can't just show up at the house. That's the most annoying thing to me. She is hella invasive and feels pretty entitled to do whatever she wants.
The semester is almost over and I'm actually done with one of my two classes already. Hubby is just a practice test and test away from being done with one of his four. Finals for two of his classes is the week following the due date, but I'm hoping Friday I can ask to be induced on the 22, which is three days earlier than my due date. I'm trying to avoid going into labor ON Thanksgiving. ๐ IF all is well we may actually get to go home in Thanksgiving.
I'm not currently minding being incredibly pregnant. I slept pretty good, even if it was just like 3 hours. I'm not having much anxiety. Which has kept me from sleeping for about three weeks now, and I'm not having any pain. I'm just wide awake and content. It feels awesome to have a moment of peace and enjoyment here at the end.
