Day 24: What is a favourite scene or page in a doujinshi?

ARRGH!! I hate hate HATE this question because I can’t repost the scene itself for a bunch of good reasons. I was hoping to find it on either the artist’s Pixiv or Toranoana etc so I could embed it, but couldn’t find it anywhere - so this is probably not going to be the most stimulating post ever. BUT - I need to tell you what it is.

It’s in the “My Hero Academia” doujin Klaxon Baby by Achiko / circle DANA, and it’s a scene in which Eraserhead and Present Mic psyche themselves up to defeat a villain. For anyone that has the doujin, it’s on page 20 and it’s the “HEY FATMAN!” scene. It features an extreme closeup on both Eraserhead and Mic in a split-screen format, taunting the villain just before their killer finale. It’s really cool, and Achiko has a really funky classic comic inked style. Most of their MHA doujins feature Mic & EH fighting villains in really dynamic, beautifully-orchestrated battles, with just a little smidge of BL. You can check out the first few pages here:

A very close runner up is the last page of Takeru Mikami / circle 3745house’s Where is your switch? It’s of Hijikata hugging an embarrassed Gintoki in his sleep. It’s adorable.

Day 11: What is the thickest doujinshi you have? (i.e. Show a picture of the rug next to a thin one with how many pages it has)

Rebirth & Playback by 3745HOUSE at 444 pages. Here it is with a normal 30-odd page doujin for reference.

It’s a little bit of a cheat as this is an anthology of works, but even so - it’s a  beast of a book. 

There are a couple of other contenders. LIVING LEGEND 再録集 by K. Haruka - a collection of some of her Vincent works - is physically thicker than Rebirth & Playback, so perhaps it should have technically been the winner...however, it only has 340 pages. They’re just a bit higher GSM I guess.

Day 8: What is the doujinshi you are the most embarrassed for owning? This can have any reason. (i.e. a pairing or series)

I'm not really embarrassed about any of my doujins, but...as far as content goes it’s probably these two:

Day 2: Your favourite artist?

Tough one as I have several that I love. However, my first love is also my true love - Takeru Mikami, aka 3745HOUSE. I have all of her published doujins. She’s utterly, utterly amazing and I’m absolutely gutted that she has stopped selling doujinshi.
