āIf Iād have a choice, Iād be a storm.ā, Neve whispered. The blood-red leaves of the bushes shivered and shook with his breath and as they floated down on Seuss, Neve curled closer into the beings scaled tail. His hand traced circles over the pattern of his upper body, wiping the leaves off as he followed the veins and scars.
āWhy so?āĀ
Neve smiled, but it faded almost immediately; as if the gentle breeze of the night had stolen it away.
āItās the closest to the stars, isnāt it?. I could shake them, rattle them. And then one will fall down and you can make a wish on it.ā
His raised hand high into the deep night, only to let it dwindle down with a soft thudding noise. Soon, it got swallowed by Seussā rumbly chuckles.
āMy fool might be the sweetest out of all of them. Iād want to be leaves then. You can not part wind and leaves, after all.ā
itās definitely not a weekly post but these two really give me feels right now

I was scrolling through my dashboard a couple minutes ago and came across a post that said something along the lines of:Ā
āThis is page 364 of 365. Ready to finish the book?ā
And I got to thinking, and somehow this little idea was born. Letās talk about a 2019 writing challenge.
TheĀ ā365 Page Challengeā (sure weāll call it that) is all about consistency, and building the habit of writing every day. And seeing as weāre focused on consistency, this is your chance to create the most ridiculous story youāve ever thought of. Here are theĀ ārulesā, though the challenge can be changed in whatever way you want:
The average book page has 250-350 words. Every day, write a minimum of 250 words and a maximum of 350 words in the same project.
Letās embrace spontaneity! (Or whatever level youāre comfortable with.) Start your project with little to no planningĀ and let your brain create the story as you go. Youāll be surprised at how much your mind might have in store for you!
And... thatās pretty much it. Remember that the 365 Page ChallengeĀ does not pressure you to publish any of your progress, because Iām openly encouraging you to make your stories as ridiculous as possible.
However, at the beginning of every month, Iām going to do a little check in with my own progress where Iāll post my favorite line, but thereās no pressure for you to do the same. So while itās not required or anything, I would also love to see what you guys write!
If you have any questions, feel free to send me an ask! Keep in mind if youāre doing this challenge and want someone by your side, there will always be at least one person you can turn to (hello!). Iām going to use and track the tag #365pagechallenge for any challenge-related happenings.
So, no worries if you donāt want to, but I would love to know whoās going this challenge with me! Or, if youāre not interested, a signal boost would also be much appreciated :D
I started this year with a lot of ideas on what I wanted to do with my time. One of this was to participate win @sunnydwritesās #365pagechallenge.
Unfortunately, I think I bit off more than I could chew. Iām really far behind and have very little interest in that story (Graphite) right now. Plus, I went in with no planning and am now realizing that this was a poor decision.
So, I am going to give up. This isnāt a sad thing. I am stepping back to allow myself to spend my time on other projects without too much guilt. I still learned a lot about the struggle of writing consistently and how I need to plan more.
Perhaps I can participate in this next year, with a WIP that I care about a bit more and have spent more time planning.
I know this 365 page challenge is supposed to help you write 300 words every day for a year but Iām doing something wrong,,,, when I write I write like 4k words and then Iāll stop completely for five days until I write another 2k and thatās more than Iād write without the challenge but itās still not correct ksjdkdje help
Thanks @sunnydwrites for the challenge! I just saw it, so Iāve got a little catching up but hey, here we go!
I decided to write Ezraās story, a character Iāve had bouncing around for awhile now. Itās an urban fantasy story, so hopefully all goes well, but main premise: Ezraās a Witch with a common, slightly weak, Gift. Threadweaving. But heās more than he appears, or maybe less. He hasnāt figured that out yet.
Itās almost 2 am, and my laptop is dying so Iām at 284/750 to catch up. Good luck to everyone attempting this!

Iāve just started this 365 pages challenge thingy even though Iām a few days behind and I already love it. Iām just writing???? without the endless thinking and it can be super silly and stupid bc I did not spend entire months outlining it just to ruin a brilliant idea when writing, so thereās really no pressure???
I started my first page with death nervously chewing on his lower lip while eating a can of ravioli in a secluded motel in ohio. weāll see where that goes
the 365 page challenge is not going well...... I was actually going to give up because of writerās block like I hadnāt written in weeks and I have like 36 pages and Iām on day 70, but today I decided that it canNOT END LIKE THIS so I wrote a few hundred words. I wonāt be able to keep up but who cares right??? ITāS A CHALLENGE doesnāt mean I have to win skskskskjsjs
remember that 365 page challenge thingy Iām doing,,,, well,,,,, I might have, kind of, pretended it didnāt exist for two weeks so now Iām 16 pages behind, but, hey!!! not every novel is 365 pages long it might just be a little less skejskjdd
