Day 20/365 - When I'm Gone (Kind of a hybrid between Pitch Perfect and Lulu and the Lampshades versions)
I'm really unco and couldn't master the cups so I did it on guitar oops.
Also thanks to those people who continue to follow me - it has been a really tricky past few months what with family members in hospital and parents marriages breaking up etc but I haven't forgotten this!
PSA: somewhere out in the vast expanse that is the internet, there are at least two of my covers floating around, and the fact that this is the SECOND time something has not uploaded is really *deep breath* substantially annoying me. I am going to bed now. Expect Ronan Keating some time tomorrow.
Day 17/365: Some Nights, Fun.
I've been wanting to learn this one for a while. However, the fact that Fun. is such a well liked and respected band has intimidated me a little bit. That and the fact that I couldn't autotune like they did, haha. So yes, it's a little dodgy in places, but I had fun, and was doing something musical.

Day 16/365: Righting Wrongs(?), Sami Poynter
Wow, I suck so much, I'm sorry this has taken so long.
Today's is just a quick snippet of a new original I'm working on (the first line is a little presumptuous but whatever). It feels a little different to most of the stuff I normally write, and I'll probably change the key and chords with due time.
Also, I'm a little sick and some of the notes are off but I really wanted to get something up, so here you go :)

Day 15/365 - Don't You, Darren Criss.
So I'm in New Zealand now, with limited internet. Making the most of what I have at the moment. Here's a short instrumentally part of Don't You, from Darren's EP, Human.
Things are a little rough as I'm trying to play my old classical guitar, but I'm picking it all back up (for those that don't know, classical guitars tend to have wider necks than acoustic, which is what I normally play).
Day 14/365 - Don't Go, Jim and the Povolos.
I love this band, and I love the song, so luckily enough I got to have a jam session with Marina and Zoe today. I'm on melody, and the other two gals are on two of the harmonies.

Day 13/365 -Original (for now, I just needed a title), yours truly (Samantha Poynter).
This is the start of a new original song, thought I'd share it. I'm currently reworking the lyrics and chords etc, but I just recorded me having a small jam sesh, chucking in words that rhymed/seemed to fit. The lyrics and stuff are all MINE muaha.
