A few more hours and the calendar will change, and the date will change as it happens every year. We all will welcome 2023. Though I failed at so many things, 2022 was a year full of realizations. As I look back, from January 2022 to December 2022, this year passed in a blink of an eye. This year I cried; I prayed; I lost hope; I failed; I stumbled down on the ground, but at the end of the year, I am standing strong with a firm self believe in my heart. It is how every year ends, with lessons that stay with us all our lives. 

This year consciousness knocked on my mind's door, and it was the best thing that has ever happened to me. I learned that I am not what I am chasing; I am not what my body and mind are; I am not what the outside world is; I am everything in nothingness.  

And, with a conscious mind comes a new life. I learned to ''let go,'' I understood that we all outgrow even tight friendships, and things do change with time. I left so many people behind me who are now sweet memory in my heart; I learned that the first step to bloom is to accept where you are right now and allow sudden shifts to happen, don't think about how and when they will happen, but believe that it will happen.

I comprehend that sometimes it might take us a little longer to reach our goals, but this journey of failures teaches us never to give up on ourselves, and I promise myself I will never give up on myself.

My loved ones who are not with me today; taught me that life is fragile. Life is a precious gift, so live as long as you are alive and not survive.

2022 taught me that life is what we make out of it; there are no coincidences, and everything happens for a reason. Do your deed with all your heart, and surrender to God as he knows what's best for you. Take responsibility for your life and take good care of your soul as the world will end, your body will end, but your soul is eternal. Be a good soul, a happy soul.

Thank you so much, 2022, for the gift of awareness. We will never meet in this lifetime again. This gift of consciousness will remain with me all my life. Thank you for all the lessons and for giving me happy moments too. Thank you for connecting me with amazing people on Tumblr.
