harry is MIA

I may have a soft belly,

But it's the kind that makes a great pillow for cuddles,

and a good canvas for smooches.

Though i will never be a work of art with precise lines,

I do not have jagged edges,

I would rather comfort than hurt others - my hands are just not made for it.

My legs, which have carried me from infancy to where I am now,

Will also carry me to middle age and beyond,

May carry me from home, to work, to the schools of my future children, and to their homes one day.

And Gods, my mind, which has tortured itself again and again,

Which has written beautiful, heartbreaking words,

Has also loved when love seemed scarce,

And has found joy in even the most innocuous things,

I know that I am doing my best.
