Given how the game strongly encourages Dark Side players to be mean to 2V, I feel like his desire to murder is deserved tbh (since I'm imagining that's the circumstance where he'd want to do that) Turnabout is fair play and all that
exactly! like yeah all imperial classes get that line where 2v is fantasising about having told the PC where to shovel it, but you only get the ‘he might be plotting to murder you’ line if you go out of your way to be a dick to him
which like. i know It’s Not That Deep but which taken in context with his lines from vanilla, which are identical between sith/non-sith classes and which cater to the egotistic power trip fantasy that everything else imperial side is geared towards, reads to me like someone who escaped a traumatic, abusive situation and is being chucked right back into it by authorial fiat. so, like. yeah. your ds imperial PC deserves to be murdered by their ship droid. it’s kind of the least of what they deserve, actually.
is it a bug or a feature that every droid in the star wars universe seems to have goddamn anxiety
also i’ve never really seen this mentioned anywhere but
the quiz intro to ziost, 2v is piloting your ship?? like?? who the fuck let him there? is nik on a toilet break? can all protocol droids pilot ships?? is this allowed??? who is responsible if he plows into the side of another ship???
(what about if the quiz or sw is the Outlander? was he just puttering around in their interceptor for the entire period they were in carbonite? is that the reason he ends up on odessen? what about if it’s a non-sith Outlander? if it is a sith Outlander, what happens to the other 2v unit? do they fight to the death, highlander style? is there a secret droid fighting circuit down in oggurob’s labs?)
