I always have to share this pic when it pops up in memories because it was the most epic day of my career. We woke up on a boat in Miami after playing the #311cruise then rushed to the airport. Mid flight, our plane got struck by lightning. The lights went out and we started falling out of the sky for a good 20 seconds. We landed safely in North Carolina and got picked up by a limo who took us to the venue with 20 minutes to spare before our set 😂. We put on our @joysews spacesuits, played a 2 hour set then @coolfuckingphotos aka @ashlycovington took this photo. I can’t wait until enough people get vaxed so that the whole #livemusicindustry can get back to our work/ livelihoods. I’ll never forget 5/14/12, the day we flew out of miami after playing a cruise and our plane got hit by lightning. There was a loud crashing noise then the lights went out and the plane started rapidly descending. Luckily we made it out ok and were only a little late for our show in raleigh. So glad @ashlycovington snapped the 2nd pic at the end of the show.
