i think the easier question is what didn't happen

RIGHT i was so prepared to hate it (hell, for like the eight years i’ve actually cared about the show in a fandom sense, i had no hope we were ever going to get it) but it was so good... wolf entertainment has me by the throat once more

Anyway, I’ll never be over GSR. They were and always will be my babies. I’m okay that we didn’t get a final kiss because their relationship was always so much more. They were best friends first and it was just so natural and easy. And what Anthony said about them being together still ten years from now, happy, with kids, just gives me so much peace. This show and these two were my childhood.

well it’s not strictly a book all about gsr (I wish!) It’s the book ‘Nevada Rose’ by Jerome Preisler - its one of the numerous CSI novels that have been written over the years, this book just happens to be filled with adorable gsr moments and a really intense scene where Sara decides to get out of the car and try to talk to this guy Charlie who they've just arrived to arrest to find out he’s holding a gun to his head outside his caravan. Basically, Sara thinks she can talk Charlie out of doing anything but as soon as she tries to leave the car Grissom grabs her and won’t let her out in case Charlie turns the gun on her. She tries to convince him that Charlie won’t hurt her but Grissom won’t have any of it until they stare into each others eyes and she softly caresses his cheek whispering to him and then he lets her go out. It’s such a good book you should definitely give it a read if you can get it! 

I adore that scene as well, the look on Sara’s face after Grissom says that he needs her... absolutely priceless!! They do look like such a couple, that whole episode is basically just gsr I LOVE IT I’ll try and get it done asap!!
