ok so my friend signed me up to go volunteer at my church's spring festival yesterday, right? my family also wanted to go, so they came along.

 i couldn't find my name on the volunteer list, but i took over someone's spot collecting tickets at a rock climbing wall because she had to go to mass. i didn't want to be lonely, so i called up my homeboy (the guy i met on the bus, i think i told you about him) because i knew he lived near the church and can easily come by

 he came a few minutes later and i shit you not, we were almost matching, but my dumbass decided to wear a church shirt instead.

but ya

he was thirsty and i was like, "oh ya there's a bunch of food in the gym leggo nigga" and we stopped by this mexican food booth with samples out and he was like, "yeah, take a 'shot' with me" and bam we did

while walking back to the rock wall thing, we heard a loud noise that sounded like a gunshot and i was like, "i am so ready to run if that's a bullet" and he was like "don't worry, i'll take a bullet for you" /cringing so hard/

 we got to the rock wall thing and sat there for a good hour and a half? just talking. at some point, we left since someone took over our shift and we started walking around the game booths part. at this one game, he kept missing and the vendor was like, "hurry up and win something for you girlfriend" and i did that 90 degree laugh bow thing because /damn/ that was embarrassing.

 later on, we were waiting in line to get our faces painted and i had a hard time trying to figure out what i wanted and he said, "you should get a cupcake because you're sweet" /uh hey can i get some sauce on these nachos because that was extra cheesy/

 somewhere while waiting in the line, i told him some personal story that happened to me a few years ago that deals with drowning and he (note that he's a swimmer) was like, "if you're drowning, just call me and i'll save you" /corny or what/
