The process and operation of mark making on the canvas, I started with a drawing in the centre of the canvas ( the marks being 3 times larger than the newsprint prototype) and then inked in the far left. In terms of my operation of mark making this allowed me to work on folded sections being confident that the edges of the newsprint prototype will be included on the canvas.
