September
With September came the first exams of the semester, new hair, Criminal Minds and a fun friend trip to the mountains. Exams and midterms are terrible. No matter the class, length of test, or even content, the stress alone of having to take an exam is scary. My first physiology exam did not go as well as I had planned. I was proud of my lecture score but my lab score was not where it needed to be. I formed a plan for myself to follow to do better on the second exam. Little did I know that the second exam was WAY harder and I did MUCH worse on it. At the start of the month I died my hair! I had virgin hair and decided getting blonde in my hair was something I absolutely needed to do lol. I went in the salon with black curly hair and came out as a blonde, sort of. This was a big change for me and all my friends and family thought I was having a mid-life crisis. What they and myself didn't know is that the mid-life crisis would come in November. Criminal Minds began to take up a majority of my free time. I took a break from Netflix over the summer but when fall hit I needed a new show. I don't regret starting the show, but it made me lose a lot of sleep and started to take up more of my day, rather than school. To end off this month I went to my family cabin with a few of my best friends and it was EXACTLY what I needed to reset and begin the month of October.Â
