Former Amateur Boxer Seamus O’Brien Continues Building Career in Fitness and Performance
MONCTON, New Brunswick — Following years of competitive amateur boxing, Seamus O’Brien is continuing to focus on fitness, athletic performance, and long-term personal development after graduating from Crandall University.
O’Brien, who holds a 27–8 amateur boxing record in Canada, spent years balancing university academics with high-level training and competition. Today, his focus has increasingly shifted toward fitness coaching, conditioning, and helping others improve through discipline and structured training.
Those close to O’Brien describe him as highly driven and committed to continuous self-improvement, using lessons learned through boxing to guide both his professional and personal life.
“Boxing taught me discipline more than anything,” O’Brien said. “That structure and mindset carry over directly into fitness and everyday life.”
While he remains connected to the sport and continues training regularly, O’Brien says his long-term goals are centered around fitness, performance, and building a future focused on health and athletic development.
Friends and peers say his background in combat sports helped shape a strong work ethic and passion for physical performance that continues to define his current direction.
As he continues preparing for future athletic opportunities, including potential national-level competition, O’Brien remains focused on growth, discipline, and helping others pursue confidence and improvement through fitness.
