14. A book with a lion, a witch, or a wardrobe - Sisters’ Fate (The Cahill Witch Chronicles, book 3) by Jessica Spotswood Set in an alternate universe during the 1890's in England, this series is about three sisters, all witches, who depend on only each other after their mother dies (their father doesn't know they're witches). Cate Cahill does everything she must to protect her sisters and their secret from everyone they know, especially the priests of the Brotherhood, who want all witches dead. But just when Cate believes she's found allies, she'll begin to doubt if she can trust them, or even her own sisters... As a whole trilogy, I really liked this series. Not everything was easily predictable, and from the beginning I became attached to the characters. And even though this is one of those books that get you so angry you want to toss it across the room, it's the good kind of angry. The first book is a little slow in the beginning but the next two more than make up for it, in my opinion. #26BookChallenge #26BooksWithBringingUpBurns
