John Henry Split My Heart pt.1 In 2010, I made this 24hr comic (that’s a challenge where you stay awake for 24 consecutive hours and draw a 24 page comic with no planning ahead of time). Then, like now, I was obsessed with Jason Molina. So I thought I’d use his lyrics as inspiration. I was listening to ‘John Henry Split My Heart’ on the walk to the Tyneside Cinema where the event was happening and decided that would be the name of my protagonist. I've decided that the best way to push myself to get this new comic done I just need to start talking about it and put it out there to everyone... So that being said, Let me tell you about the new book I'm working on... While I'm slowly writing a new @aaiwars book of short #horror #war stories, some of you may remember seeing or hearing me talk about another #comic I have called: Demon Blood. It started off from a simple idea a few years ago from #24hrcomicday about a guy carrying around floating demon heads but has since now blossomed into my new soon to be #indiegogo project. (More on that later) One of the main things I want to accomplish this time with this book is having the settings be just as alive and important as the characters. This book will definitely be heavily influenced by dark Victorian architecture mixed with scifi futuristic environments. So enjoy new posts of my world and please, tell me what you think.
