It’s actually my favourite (and the first I actually read). I think it feels different because it mostly is different. The entire book feels like it’s exploring relationships between the characters more than actually like fighting dark wizards.

yeah there's a lot of character exploration as opposed to build-up to a mystery -- particularly with all of the penseive scenes with voldemort's backstory. that's another part of it, i think: some of the backstory we get in this book contributes to the events that happen later in the book, but a lot of it is more relevant in the seventh book.

it's always felt very strange to me but i do like it quite a lot... in particular for the ron/hermione scenes but that's just me.

Neither because my sleeping pattern has crashed and burned so I'm a walking zombie.

A reasonable amount, I'd probably rather see one of my favourite youtubers or something though
