and sure ,  it means Thor gets hurt more often ,  is endangered or emotionally battered by Loki’s antics ,  but it does also strengthen their relationship in that Loki knows they always have Thor in their corner .   and it eventually is a point that brings them together .   I guess Thor’s tolerance is much ,  much higher ,  proportionally with a lifespan that extends thousands of years .

.: ♫ — There were a lot of things that Sonja wanted in the past. Things she couldn’t have, as the priestesses dictated that she couldn’t. Days upon days she watched from the little window in the tower. What would it be like to be out there? With other people? Carefree, without a sense of duty and responsibility thrusted upon you with no real reason why. The stories weaved in books always told her of the wondrous world around her. 

And she couldn’t have any of that.

... At least, she thought she couldn’t have any of that. Things like a home, friends, a family... Love? They were all so distant to her back then. All of these things she thought she’d never find.
