I wonder if that was a regional thing, Roane, because we’re the same age (aren’t we?) and I remember having a VCR and movies like in fifth or sixth grade? And we didn’t have a lot of money growing up either, so I’m wondering if it was a “Californian show of affluence” kind of b.s.? Dunno.

We so lucked out! The former owners put a lot of work into it (it was built in 1945 and was extremely rustic). I loathe the composting toilet (and the occasional mouse dropping we find), but other than that, it’s practically perfect. :)

YES OMFG YES. I'd be so happy if it would ditch all this heaven/ hell b.s. and get back to MotW.

i’m not bothered by the overarching heaven/hell story lines as much as some fans are i guess, but it’d be cool to drop the formula of the last few (or seven) seasons where either sam or dean or cas does something at the end of the season that has disastrous consequences and they spend the next season cleaning it up. 

Well, I’m in California, so I’m screwed, LOL.

Thank god I hang out with SCA people who do most of the aforementioned things. But I’m the same way with The Stand, I have to gear up to read it because the concept scares the hell out of me,
