the bar weights were fucked up in kilograms haha because it was 65-75-85 lb, which are weird weights anyway but that's what you get when you fire dave castro i guess.

ANYWAY i watched the livestream this morning and was a little concerned about the time cap and my chest to bar pull up ability - 18 is not a big number of reps for me but hanging gymnastics is not my strength and i've really only got the hang of butterfly C2Bs in the last like 6 weeks, but i knew i had to do them because regular kipping C2Bs would take too long. spent the day kind of like stressing about it? ruminating. would i finish.................... double unders are easy, the thruster weights are easy, pull ups and bar muscle ups are easy.............. but 18 C2B pull ups.............. and the cap seemed kind of tight..............

i went something like 12-5-4 on the pull ups, DUBs unbroken, 15-6 on the thrusters, 6-6-4-2 on the C2B*, DUBs unbroken, 10-8 on the thrusters, 3-3-3-3-3 on the BMU, DUBs unbroken, 9-6 on the thrusters and FINISHED the workout in 11:39 and i am SO PROUD of myself for that especially because *i did not fail a single C2B rep. also thrusters felt light, DUBs were so easy to go unbroken, pull ups and BMU felt fucken smoooooth. dreamy all round.

my heart rate was through the roof and i knew that i had to pick up the bar and go on the last set of thrusters but like i couldn't breathe. it was so uncomfortable - i haven't felt like that in such a long time. but i a) wanted to stay ahead of greg, and b) put blink-182 on specifically (prayer hands emoji). amazing.
