I feel like I'm stuck in a hole right now. I've had some unlucky situations happen to be lately over the past couple of days, and it just sucks.
First, I received a ticket in the mail for not paying toll for the San Mateo Bridge when I had my friend's Fastrak on the dash board. It must have not gone through or something.
I recently told my Dad that I wasn't sure if I really wanted to keep studying music. I'm 5 years into my Music Education degree already, but my heart isn't in teaching. I'm just so fucking confused with what I really want to do with my life. He wasn't too pleased to hear that. Plus, my mom has these dreams of me becoming a doctor. Let's just say, my parents have high expectations.
My Dad keeps getting on my case for spending too much money. Gotta admit, that's my fault. I have a problem.
Yesterday, I was late to work because I thought I was scheduled to work at 10:30 am. I was scheduled to work 10:15 am. It's no big deal, but when I open with my manager, it is.Â
Then last night, we went out to a club, and I lost my phone at the bar. I was ordering a drink then I realized my phone wasn't in my hand. My friends and I checked the floor and all around the area. Just found my case. No phone. We called it, but it went straight to voicemail. We even asked the bartenders and some security guards, and still nothing.Â
I tell my Dad through email that my phone is gone, and we bicker back and forth. He ended the conversation saying "I'm disappointed in you."
I just can't. I've never felt so shitty in my life, and I feel like I can't do anything about it.
