I'm late to this, but shh. This show means the world to me. I didn't start watching it until I was a sophomore in high school. None of my friends were watching it but I found it and I obsessed over it, even writing a fan fic while i spent some time in in school suspension. I still have it. This show helped me cope with my own depression. I laughed. I cried. I crushed on Spike. I later learned that the type of guys I like make me laugh like Xander. I went as Buffy on superhero day for spirit week. I obsessed over the musical episode and later learned my love for musicals and theatre. I binged watched the show after my dad died and it hit me hard when Buffy lost her mom and rested so hard. It helped me cope with my own depression. Hell, I even watched it recently along with Angel! Thank you, Joss Whedon! Buffy has been in my life for so long that I'm just overwhelmed with emotion for the 20th anniversary. It's been there for me during my worst times and for that...
