#2020 rant

I hate to be a party pooper and like I get that people are allowed to celebrate surviving 2020 and find small amounts of positivity in what might have been the most stressful year on earth but these "Congratz you survived 2020" memes I feel are a bit of a pressure for those who are grieving to be allowed to process it in peace and feel valid in doing so and that toxic positivity leads to disenfranchisment of exactly how fucked up the whole situation and I think it's important for me to be slightly critical of it even if it's a passing thought.

if i see one more post online about how ‘tehee otakus/gamers/introverts already practice social isolation tehee silly normies who need interaction unless us xDDD’ I will actually socially isolate for the rest of my life
