March Mammal Madness is over! Here’s my moose painting for the Final Roar bout. Tried something more dramatic and dynamic than the others I’d made so far. Also tried to balance the color palette more. Success??
I must admit I’ve known since February that the tiger would win.
March Mammal Madness is over! I’m free! JK it was awesome and I’m totally going to illustrate for it again next year. In the meantime, a number of this year’s illustrations are now available on the official MMM society 6 store! I’ve been the only artist on the tiger quoll this whole season from the get-go (literally! The tiger quoll intro art was the first 2019MMM I made at all!)
It’s been interesting, drawing iterations of the same animal. It’s also nice to keep getting opportunities to try again, but better each time.
Quolls are fun.
